Judicial Election Empowerment Project

Did you ever go into the voting booth and face a list of judge candidates with no idea who you should vote for?  Did you ever go to court and leave with the feeling that you were treated unfairly but not know what to do about it?

Until now, most people have only known what happens in the courtroom from television shows.  And, unless you’ve been on trial, you don’t realize how a judge can change your life in an instant.

The Judicial Election Empowerment Project seeks to change that.  Through court watch, research on judicial decisions and other efforts, JEEP will create a guide for voters in Hennepin County that will help them make an educated and informed decision when voting for judges.

This project is people-powered.  We need people to observe judges in court and do law library research.  Interested in helping?  Click CONTACT US to let us know.
